Good to Know Before
We Book
A few things worth knowing before we plan your shoot. Your contract covers all key terms, and the packages on each page list what's included.
Communication
I use email, helcom56@gmail.com, so everything is in writing and we're always on the same page.
I reply as quickly as I can.
Turnaround time
Edited photos arrive within 7–10 business days after your shoot (not counting the shoot day). Weddings may need more time.
Contract
You'll receive a contract with all key terms and conditions.
Editing style
I edit naturally, with true-to-life colors, and I don't reshape bodies. I don't retouch every image: for selected best shots, I may remove distractions such as litter or people in the background.
RAW files
I shoot in RAW, which iPhones can't open and which takes a lot of storage, so I don't provide RAW files. You receive your best images, fully edited, as high-quality JPEGs.
Exclusive buyout license
Full or nearly full usage rights to a photo are available for a one-time fee of $450. Once purchased, the image can be permanently removed from sale and won't be available to anyone else.
Proposal video
For key moments such as a proposal, I may also record a short video on a phone attached to my camera. It's a candid keepsake, not professional video.
Deposit and cancellation
A 30% deposit reserves your session. It's non-refundable if you cancel within one week of the shoot, because that time is held for you and I've already begun preparing ideas and references.
Photo storage
I keep your gallery for about one month after delivery. Please download your photos and back them up on several devices or in cloud storage.
